The Tunisian presidency confirmed that Tunisia will not be a party to any alliance or lineup, nor will it allow its national sovereignty to be violated.
The Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk quoted the presidency as saying in a statement today that "Tunisia will not accept to be a member of any alliance or lineup at all ... and will never accept that any inch of its soil be only under the Tunisian sovereignty."
She added, “False statements, interpretations, and allegations that are being pursued since yesterday are either due to misunderstanding and misjudgment, or they originate from the same sources that have consistently slandered and distorted” indicating that “if a position to the contrary was issued from this Tunisia or from outside it, it is only necessary Whoever declares it alone. "
The Tunisian presidency declared that "anyone who wants to distort and lie must know that the Tunisian people cannot be distracted by such allegations, to divert their attention from their real issues and sufferings every day in the economic and social fields in particular."
This statement comes in the wake of the visit of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Tunisia and the statements made by the media about forming an alliance regarding the situation in Libya.
