(CNN) - A woman survived after falling 60 meters on a cliff in southern California, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said.
The woman, in her late thirties, was walking Friday morning on a trail in Rancho Palos Verdes, in Los Angeles County, when she fell down the cliff, vicesheriff Ed Luna told CNN.
Around 8 am (local time), police began receiving calls from people who heard her scream from the bottom of the cliff, Luna said.
It is not clear how he fell or how long it was before someone heard his calls for help.
Several rescuers helped the woman before taking her to the hospital.
The rescue videos show the agents flying towards the coast in a helicopter, and an officer abseiling down to the coast to reach the woman and then using a hoist parallel to her.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, tweeted Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
