Hama-Sana Today, the Hama Agriculture Directorate implemented an afforestation campaign, during which 700 fruitful and forested plants were planted at the Dawa site.

Today, the Hama Agriculture Directorate carried out a reforestation campaign, during which 700 fruitful and forestry plants were planted at the Sebahi roundabout site at the northern entrance of Hama, on the occasion of the Tree Day.

The Director of Agriculture, Engineer Abdel Moneim Sabbagh, told a SANA reporter that 700 olive and cypress trees had been planted with the aim of expanding the green areas in the site, calling for preserving forests, achieving sustainable development of natural forests, and involving the local community in their protection.

Participants in the campaign stressed that the tree is a symbol of life, goodness and giving, pointing to the need to continue the afforestation campaigns to increase the green areas in the various areas of the province, especially those that were attacked, fires and protect the vegetation and forests.
