The amount of cotton that was marketed through Al-Hasakah gin to the gins of the General Organization for Ginning and Cotton Marketing has reached 48,000 tons since the start of marketing operations last October to date.
The director of Al-Hasakeh Grocery, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Aisha, told a SANA reporter that marketing operations are continuing to the gins of the General Cotton Organization in the governorates of Homs and Hama, noting that farmers and producers are provided with papers that prove that the cotton is transported across the borders of the Hasaka governorate to compensate them for the fees for transporting the cotton material, noting that The daily marketing average during the current week ranges between 400 and 600 tons.
It is noteworthy that the cultivated area of the cotton crop in Hasaka governorate for the current season amounted to 3075 hectares concentrated in the first and second agricultural stability areas.
