The Bible doesn't fit your values? So why not write it down to suit you. That's at least what China decided to do in an effort to fight religions and position Communist as the supreme religion.

As part of China's struggle for religions in general and Islam in particular, the previous month, during a meeting of the Communist Party's Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, it was decided to edit the Bible and the Koran and to exclude from these books or rewrite any paragraph that contradicts the socialist spirit that characterizes the Chinese regime.

According to the official Chinese news agency Xinhua, who led the meeting was chairman of the Chinese Political and Political Affairs Advisory Committee Mr. Wang Yang, alongside 16 of China's religious experts who are members of the party's top executive.

To avoid international criticism, the Bible or the Koran were not mentioned in their names, but Mr. Young said "religious authorities in the country must follow President Xi Jinping's instructions and interpret the different religions according to the core values of socialism according to the spirit of the period." The Chinese senior even implored those in the room who agreed with the unanimous plea to "build a religious system with Chinese characteristics."

The participants in the conference, all members of the party's top committee, agreed that this was "the direction that history is leading" and agreed to act in that spirit. They also noted that "re-editing and reconciling religions would prevent citizens from meeting extreme positions that could hurt the Chinese state."

As a principle of the meeting, the wave of global criticism of China's re-education camps was held, with around 3 million Uighur minority members being brainwashed against Islam, which they believe. According to official Chinese reports and documents coming to the West, the Chinese are forcing pigs to eat pork and speak Mandarin in Han's dialect rather than the local dialect. Rape and systematic damage to prisoners in these camps were also reported. Initially China denied the very existence of the camps, but later it admitted but claimed that it was "vocational training centers." As stated, the US and world countries did not accept the explanation, but the Chinese government on the contrary accuses its critics of striving against him.
