"Israel Today" has learned that the person behind the attempt to break into Neve's phones is Hani Neve, his wife, who is in a divorce dispute with him. According to sources in the affair, IDF journalist Hadas Steif helped her find a way to help her break through the phones. It was only after the suspicion of criminal acts on the part of Naveh was revealed that the details were reported to the State Prosecutor's Office and the police while receiving close legal advice.

In the final days before the hearing, which is scheduled to take place, the decision has yet to be brought to trial, where the affair has gone on to make headlines. Naveh's attorneys filed an appeal on Sunday with the decision not to prosecute Steif on the charge that she was the main culprit for the crimes, who solicited the offenses related to the phone burglary and initiated and caused most of the offenses.

However, the sources in the case told "Israel Today" that whoever wanted Neve's phone break-up was at all his wife who was with him in a divorce dispute. According to the same factors, Naveh held two phones. One of them he used to change every few months. When the airport affair where Naveh was caught helping another woman to enter Israel without boundary criticism was revealed, the wife asked to find out what the phones said, which officials said were "thrown into her house for years."

According to the same sources, Naveh's wife wanted to know if there were bank accounts on the phones that he was hiding from, and handed them over to the Tel Aviv laboratory, but the laboratory staff could not open the phones. As stated by Steiff's testimony in the police, Naveh's wife contacted the journalist to help her find a man who could break into the phones. Steif linked her to a technician who made it clear that he could break through the devices found at the time in the Tel Aviv laboratory.

The technician sent a messenger to take them out of the lab, and did Nave's wife's work. When she found out what was inside them, the technician shared with Steif who was quick to report it to IDF Wave Commander Shimon Elkabetz, and from there they were handed over to the State Prosecutor's Office and the police and she was accompanied by legal advice.
