Police allowed Sunday's announcement that a prosecutor's statement had been filed against four gang members for murder and two attempted murder in Tel Aviv. These incidents occurred only a few hours apart on December 3 in the south of the city. The arrest of the four has been extended until Tuesday for an indictment.

In the aftermath of the brutal violence that occurred that night, the police set up a special investigative team, which a few weeks later resulted in the case being resolved. Police investigation shows that a string of assaults that night, one of which ended in the murder, were committed by members of one gang, eight suspects, and allegedly behind the line of offenses. The four squad members, in their 20s, were arrested and a prosecutor's statement was filed against them in Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.

Police investigation shows that gang members attacked a man near the market in the Tel Aviv neighborhood of Tel Aviv during the night, hit him with rods, and stabbed him with a knife in a manner that resulted in his serious injury. The victim of the attack died from his wounds several days later in the hospital.

Just hours after the assault in the Hatikva neighborhood, members of the same gang arrived near the Banda Street in southern Tel Aviv, where another brutal attack was carried out by another man they met on the street. The victim of this attack faces the hospital in serious condition, bruised and stabbed throughout his body. The gang members even attacked another man standing not far away.

Inspector Yaniv Oshri, an investigative officer at a neighborhood police station, said that "as the investigation progressed, we realized that there were several suspects belonging to the foreign population community in Tel Aviv." He said that "they embarked on a campaign of brutal violence, and allegedly committed a brutal murder of a man in his 40s, and only a few hours later, a serious assault by another man causing him to be hospitalized in serious condition."
