The impact of the rain and snowstorm called "Lulu" that has struck Lebanon since last Thursday, causing landslides and detaining civilians in the high mountains due to the accumulation of snow, continues.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the heavy rain and torrential rain caused rock and dust landslides on the main road in Batroun, northeast of Lebanon, at the junction of the town of Kour, which led to its partial closure.

In Akkar, heavy snowfall in the mountainous regions, at an altitude of 1300 meters and above, cut many roads on the top of Akkar, especially in the Al-Majma area, which caused the detention of many hikers with their cars.

The Lebanese meteorology and traffic control department expected the heavy rainstorm to renew strongly on Monday afternoon.
