The boy who was taken out of the cave apparently suffers from exhaustion and was immediately sent to the hospital established in the area • At least two more rescue operations are expected to remove all the boys from the cave

The rescue of the boys from the flooded cave in Thailand resumed this morning (Monday). At noon (Israel time) another boy was removed from the cave and taken on a stretcher straight to the temporary hospital set up near the cave's entrance. According to reports, the boy who was rescued was suffering from exhaustion and a seizure of powers.

In the meantime, it started to rain in the area, which could make it difficult to continue the operation. Threatening to rescue the rescue today is being carried out by those divers who removed the first four boys to be rescued from the cave yesterday - Thai Interior Minister Anupong Pajinda confirmed. "The divers who worked yesterday will also run the operation today, as they know the cave conditions and know exactly how to operate," Pajinda said.

According to the Interior Minister, government and military officials met this morning to discuss the next stage of the rescue operation, in which the nine remaining traps will be rescued from the cave in the north of the country. Anupong said divers should place more than one aircraft along the underwater route in the cave en route to where the boys and their football coach were trapped, which he said would take several hours. He added that the boys who were taken out of the cave yesterday were "strong and confident", but needed further medical examinations.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said in a television interview this morning that the boys will be rescued in groups of four, meaning there are at least two more rescue operations. Australia sent a team of 19 divers to the dangerous rescue mission, and Australian divers were part of yesterday's successful rescue operation, Bishop said.

In the meantime, there are unconfirmed reports that one of the four people rescued yesterday was boys soccer coach Akapul Chentwong. It is believed that he was rescued from the cave first because he was ill, after giving the trapped boys all the food and not eating himself while waiting for the rescuers. However, this report has not been confirmed by official sources in Thailand.
