Iraqi President Barham Salih condemned the American aggression against sites of the Popular Mobilization Forces, stressing that it constitutes a violation of Iraqi sovereignty.
Saleh said in a statement quoted by Alsumaria News that the American bombing is "unacceptable and harmful to Iraq, and is contrary to the agreements with America."
In turn, the head of the Iraqi Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Muhammad Reza Al-Haidar, denounced the American aggression, stressing that it constituted a target for the sovereignty of Iraq, its territory, and the military establishment.
He called in a statement to the House of Representatives to hold an urgent session to determine the reasons for this breach because it was not repeated again, calling on the international community to take a clear stance on America’s interventions in countries and not respecting its sovereignty and trying to impose its control on everyone.
Also, a member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives for the Saeroun al-Shammari bloc called on the Iraqi government to take a clear position on the recurrence of the American attacks, calling for their discussion during the parliament session today.
Al-Shammari said in a statement that targeting the popular crowd constitutes an attack on the sovereignty, security and stability of Iraq, calling for the presidency of the parliament to proceed with the legislation to remove foreign forces, especially the American forces, from Iraq.
While the Iraqi Parliamentary Alliance called on the Iraqi parliament to take an urgent and bold decision to remove all foreign forces from Iraqi territory.
The coalition said in a statement posted on its website that the blatant attack by the American forces is "an attack on the national sovereignty and Iraqi dignity that it refuses to prejudice," noting that "this arrogant criminal act will be answered by an Iraqi refusal willing to take up any challenge related to his dignity and sovereignty."
The popular crowd in Iraq announced yesterday that its sites were bombed by American planes marching west of Al-Anbar Governorate, which resulted in deaths and injuries among members of the brigades 45 and 46.
