(CNN) - Zac Efron says he "recovered" after getting sick while filming a survival reality show in Papua New Guinea.
The American actor confirmed on Twitter and Instagram on Monday that he reported that he had received medical treatment after a health problem.
"Very grateful to everyone who contacted me," he told his followers. “I got sick in Papua New Guinea, but I recovered quickly and finished an incredible 3 weeks in PNG”
The 32-year-old star, who rose to fame playing Troy Bolton in the High School Musical franchise, also took the opportunity to thank fans for his support messages, adding that he was now at home with his loved ones later. of spending time in the Pacific nation.
