Executing two rain drainage lines on the Blue Beach highway in Latakia city

Today, the Sewerage Company in Latakia started implementing two rain drainage lines with a diameter of 60 cm on the Blue Beach highway to support the existing drainage line.

The director of the company, engineer Rafik Nofal, explained to SANA that the two new lines provide an additional drain for the quantities of water coming to the highway from the adjacent agricultural lands, which recently caused the closure of the right lane from the highway in front of the officers club due to the heavy rain showers.

Nofal pointed out that the two new lines will be completed within about a week, indicating that the encroachments on the rain channels that are connected to the highway, side ditches and waterways, caused bottlenecks to drain the water.
