Occupied Jerusalem-Sana
Dozens of Palestinians were injured today due to suffocation as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration of Kafr Qaddum village, demanding the opening of the village street that has been closed for 16 years east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency quoted the Popular Resistance Coordinator in Kafr Qaddum Murad Shtaiwi as saying that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, causing dozens of them to suffocate.
Kafr Quddum is witnessing continuous demonstrations against the occupation forces, and they are now part of the public life in the village that occupied the apartheid wall and settlement lands.
