The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the German government's stance on the recent American terrorist aggression in Iraq that led to the death of Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani.
The Fares news agency quoted Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi as saying today: "The German statements reveal how far Berlin is from the realities of the region and put this country on a path in harmony with American government terrorism."
Mousavi added: “Iran considers Germany’s positions in support of US hostile, unilateral and contrary to international laws a kind of participation in these measures.” He reminded Berlin of the prominent role of the martyr General Soleimani in combating ISIS terrorism, whose survival would have endangered the lives of many innocent people, even in Europe. .
And Ulrich Dimer, a spokeswoman for the German government, tried earlier today to justify the American aggression in Iraq.
