A special envoy for President Bashar al-Assad visited Major General Ali Mamlouk, head of the National Security Bureau, Tehran, and met the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security of Iran, Ali Shamkhani.
General Mamlouk conveyed during the meeting, President al-Assad's warm condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran on the leadership, government and people of the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force.
The discussion revolved around joint coordination in the coming stage, while emphasizing that the martyrdom of General Soleimani will not increase the two countries except by adhering to the principles and the joint approach that proved its validity over the previous years.
