Jableh City Council took a number of measures to prevent the formation of torrential rain in light of the heavy rainfalls taking place in Lattakia governorate, as it removed rain channels and craters in the streets and neighborhoods of Jableh City.
Eng. Ahmed Qandil, the head of the city council, stated in a statement to the SANA correspondent that the city significantly exceeded the occurrence of torrents in the streets and neighborhoods through the procedures carried out by the maintenance workshops, explaining that the workshops are in a state of complete readiness to deal with any complaints in the event of any bottlenecks or a problem with sanitation .
And Qandil indicated that the maintenance workshops, in cooperation with the electricity workers, maintained lighting lighting at the main entrance to the city and the main streets to include all of the city's neighborhoods, stressing that the work of the council’s workshops is continuous 24 hours to face any emergency.
