While the fire and rescue system are investigating the functioning of the elevator disaster, which killed two young men Dean Shoshani and Autumn Harari, in the Tel Aviv District Police Fraud Party, are now investigating the causes that led to the tragic incident. The main question facing the police officers is whether the flooding happened due to the natural damage or whether it was negligence.

The building's owner, Alfred Jadeed, said last night that "this building was new and built a year and a half ago. It has all the standards, all the permits."

At this point, the fraud party is investigating the case as a work-related accident to see if there were any failures in the elevator or in plans approved by the Tel Aviv Municipality. Police will gather evidence from city officials and the Engineering Administration to determine whether it was a superior force or negligence.

The police may examine the operation of the rescue forces at the event, and may also invite witnesses to some of the rescue personnel who arrived on the scene.

At the same time, Fire and Rescue Commissioner Multi-Former Dadi Simchi has appointed a senior professional team to conduct an investigation into the rescue incident in the elevator. The team, led by sub-Tziper Zion Shankor, deputy commander of the Southern District, will review professional aspects of the event's functioning and handling of the incident, and will submit its conclusions by January 12.

The team will look at how the focus and the operation of the forces, the movement of forces to the destination and how the fire extinguishing and rescue teams work, how to operate a flame unit, the reasons for the event breaking out, how to deal with the event load and readings at the time of the event, and the lessons learned and recommendations in all aspects.
