The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that several roads in Quneitra and Lattakia governorates are impassable due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The administration clarified in its bulletin that all roads in Quneitra governorate are impassable due to snowfall, except for the Ayn al-Tineh road that is impassable due to snow accumulation.
According to the prospectus, all roads in Lattakia governorate are passable except for the Um Al-Tuyour sub-road leading to the seashore due to a collapse in the cement-retaining wall and soil below the road in front of Shaheen Chalets and the road to Slanfah The broadcasting station is impassable due to the accumulation of snow and the Lattakia-Balkhula road is impassable near the gas plant due to torrents And rain.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use lights for fog, check brakes, reduce speed at corners, slopes, road joints and drive with caution in order to avoid accidents, noting that they allocated numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about the condition of the roads.
