Tehran-Sana

The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the statements of NATO Secretary General "Jens Stoltenberg" regarding the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, by Washington.

A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, said in a statement today: “NATO and in recent years have achieved no accomplishment other than destruction, war and destabilization of the people of the region and the world.” He added: “The performance of this alliance, whose largest member represents a terrorist state globally, that is, the states The United Nations did not achieve any achievement except destruction, war and destabilization of the people of the region and the world.

Mousavi pointed out that the justification of the American action to assassinate the leader Soleimani was simply ignoring his role in combating terrorists, eliminating ISIS and removing the threat of this brutal terrorist organization from the region and from Europe.

Stoltenberg had condemned the Iranian "missile attacks" that targeted bases comprising US forces in Iraq, calling on Iran to "refrain from further violence", he claimed.

And the Judicial Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced, at dawn today, targeting the Ain Al-Assad base in western Iraq, in which American forces are present with two waves of ballistic missiles, in response to the assassination of General Soleimani and his comrades, stressing that the missiles hit their targets accurately.
