The Israeli occupation authorities continue their Judaic war targeting the Palestinian land and presence with absolute American support and in the silence of the international community, where the American ambassador to the occupation David Friedman appeared and once again declared his bias to the Israeli occupation entity by supporting the annexation of parts of the West Bank to the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinians assert that Friedman's statements violate international legitimacy and express the colonial tendency of Washington and its blind bias to the occupation entity at the expense of Palestinian rights.
Palestinian government spokesman Ibrahim Melhem told a SANA reporter that Friedman's statements contradict international laws, especially UN Security Council Resolution 2334, stressing that these statements will not change the fact that Palestine is occupied territory and the settlement and colonial occupation measures are invalid.
Melhem said that the Palestinian government continues its efforts to complete the files related to settlement crimes to be submitted to the International Criminal Court and to open an investigation and hold the occupation officials accountable for their crimes that amount to war crimes.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry, in turn, condemned Friedman's statements, stressing that it is an attempt by the American administration to impose the so-called deal of the century aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue, noting that it is considering filing a complaint against him with the International Criminal Court.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that the Palestinians will not give up any of their rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in preserving and respecting international law.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, in turn, told a SANA correspondent that Friedman’s statements were a forgery of history and reality, pointing out that the American administration will not succeed before the Palestinian steadfastness in passing what is called the Deal of the Century.
Al-Barghouti called on the international community to urgently intervene and break its silence regarding Washington's flagrant violations of all international conventions and norms.
For his part, member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian People’s Party, Ghassan Al-Khatib, made it clear that Friedman's statements confirm the American administration's bias to the occupation, calling on the International Criminal Court to speed up practical steps to try the occupation for its crimes and its violation of international law.
Settlement specialist Salah Al-Khawaja pointed out that the statements of the American ambassador to the occupation about settlement and annexation of parts of the West Bank are a process of falsifying history and civilization and abrogating the rights of the Palestinian people who will continue their struggle against all attempts to displace by clinging to their lands and holding on to them.
