The Algerian army announced today the elimination of two terrorists in the northeastern city of Khenchela.
The Algerian News Agency quoted the Ministry of National Defense as saying in a statement that "in the framework of combating terrorism and thanks to the exploitation of information, a detachment of the National People's Army eliminated two terrorists after an ambush in the Bodkhan region of the city of Khenchela."
The statement added that the terrorists are "Bashir Arabawi al-Makani (Abu Ishaq) who joined the terrorist groups in 2007 and the terrorist Zara Zitouni al-Makani (Abu Ubaidah) who joined the terrorist groups in 2001", noting that the operation resulted in the confiscation of two Kalashnikov machine guns, five full stores and a conventional bomb Manufacture, grenade, binoculars and other equipment.
