50 days for elections and only three days for closing lists: Right-wing seniors have difficulty deciding how to deal • Itamar Ben Gvir: "It's best for us to go two heads"

Fateful 24 hours on the right: The party leaders to the right of the Likud - Naftali Bennett, Ayelet Shaked, Rafi Peretz, Bezalel Smutrich and Itamar Ben Gvir - are expected to decide in the coming day on how to contest their upcoming elections.

Talks with senior officials in all parties indicate that the chances of a single list of all parties will be low, and therefore, the right will probably run with two heads. Two scenarios remain on the table: one, joining the National Union led by Smutrich to the new right. In this case, the Jewish home led by Rabbi Peretz and Jewish power of Ben Gvir are expected to deal separately.

The second scenario is Smutrich's joining Peretz and Ben Gavir, in which case the new right will run separately. Bennett and Shaked's party are ready to consider Rabbi Peretz's joining Smutrich. However, they see Ben as a red line, so they are not prepared to attach it under any circumstances. For his part, Rabbi Peretz promises in closed talks not to violate the agreement with Ben Gvir under any circumstances, and therefore the possibility of joining Levant seems blocked. All of this, despite the "Israel Today" survey in collaboration with "Mastermind," which indicated that the right wants general unification - with Ben Gvir.

Ben Gvir, on the other hand, addressed the polls and the political situation at Mitzpe Jericho, saying that "we think it is best to go with two heads, Bennett with Shaked and other figures that will allow them to go for Lieberman voters and blue and white, while we are with Rabbi Rafi and Smutrich, who I really appreciate and hope will come" . Regarding Smutrich, he added that "there are excellent substitutes and very good characters who want to come. Jewish power will not be the one to resist a wide connection and we do not rule out anyone."

In the meantime, the disconnect between Smutrich and Peretz ended. Ministers met on Thursday to discuss the various political options. According to both sides, the atmosphere was good, and they agreed to strive for as much unity as possible and agreed to continue the dialogue in the coming days. The dialogue would have to be fast, if they wanted it to be fruitful, because the lists would be submitted to the Central Election Commission the next morning at 12:00 and continue until 17:00, and the next day - 22:00 to 16:00. So far, representatives have taken 30 lists of registration forms, compared with 42 in the 22nd Knesset elections.
