The deputies of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council stressed that Tehran will not allow enemies to exploit and invest the issue of the Ukrainian plane crash against it, expressing their firm support for the Revolutionary Guards and its programs to protect the people and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement issued today and signed by 186 Iranian deputies, the council stated that the recent missile attack by the Revolutionary Guards against American forces stunned the world by breaking the prestige and competence of America and was the first fruit of the blood of the largest Revolutionary Guards commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who devoted his life with his comrades for decades to preserve the independence of the Iranian people And his country, as this attack was the first of its kind after the Second World War.
The statement added that after the Iranian people tasted the sweetness of this great victory, the sad news of the fall of the Ukrainian passenger plane, which killed a number of citizens of Iran and other countries, pointed to the sympathy of the Iranian representatives with the bereaved families due to this tragic incident.
The Iranian Staff announced yesterday that the downing of the stricken Ukrainian plane was due to a human error as a result of its approaching one of the sensitive centers of the Revolutionary Guard against the backdrop of American threats to target 52 points in Iran.
