The Iranian News Agency "IRNA" quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today: "The statements of the Prime Minister and the Foreign and Defense Ministers of the British regime are tantamount to accompanying and participating in this terrorist act."

American ”confirming that the issuance of any new mistake by Britain will face a severe response and that its repercussions will fall on the British government.

On the other hand, the statement stressed that the presence of the British ambassador to Tehran, Robert Maker, in an internal gathering, is "a blatant interference in the internal affairs of the country, contradicts the prevailing principles in the field of diplomatic relations, and strengthens the suspicion of his country's participation in the failed maximum pressure policy of the American administration."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Macair yesterday to protest his participation in an illegal gathering in front of Amir Kabir University in central Tehran the day before yesterday, at a time when popular protests took place in front of the British embassy to condemn London's hostile policies against Iran.
