A German air base in the Rhineland-Platinate province announced today that the bodies of two American soldiers were found at the military base, noting that the reasons for their deaths are not yet known.
According to Agence France-Presse, the two soldiers were found last Thursday in a dormitory at Spangdahlim Air Force Base, while an investigation was opened to find out the cause of death.
The Spangdahlem base, which has about 4,000 soldiers, hosts the US Air Force's 52nd Fighter Squadron, where the two soldiers were charged with maintaining the planes.
