"The crutches with which the viaduct was built have undergone displacements such as to make the opposite surfaces, in correspondence of the center line, flattened one on the other", while in "correspondence of the piles ... there are deep displacements in the order of 7 cm ". It is one of the passages of the magistrate of Avellino who has ordered the prohibition of transit of heavy vehicles on the Cerrano viaduct (89.7 meters high) of the A14 between Pescara Nord and Pineto. The provision follows the seizure order for the New Jersey issue. It cites a note that the MIT territorial inspection office had sent to the VII trunk section of Autostrade. In the note, the magistrate's provision states, "there is a gravitation phenomenon affecting the slopes where the viaduct is located" which is creating "a state of compulsion within structures and foundations for which they have been adequate and detailed global checks have been produced which demonstrate the ability of the structural system to resist '".
