At 4 am on Friday (17), the police received a report from a female resident of Po Ning House, Po Lam Estate, Tseung Kwan O, alleging that his son had fallen from the apartment. Rescuers arrived and found the victim lying on the platform. The ambulanceman confirmed that he had apparently died and did not need to be sent to the hospital. Firefighters assisted in transporting the body back to the ground and then sent to the mortuary by the laborer. It is understood that the deceased was about 50 years old and had a record of emotional illness. The police initially believed that there was no suspiciousness.
