Huang Zhifeng also said that Liu Xuan Kuang himself is in a lawsuit for allegedly breaking into the Legislative Council Chamber on July 1. He is currently obliged to abide by conditions such as leaving the port and reporting to the police station on a weekly basis. The Political Secretary directly sued, and may not be allowed to be released on bail. "If you approve, you will be immediately returned to Lai Chi Kok." Huang Zhifeng finally expressed his hope that Liu Yikang could leave the police station as soon as possible.

Liu Yikuang met with the media in Wan Chai at 7 pm, claiming that at least 150,000 people attended the rally at Chater Gardens today, thinking that the police would have more people if they did not cut the rally.

He further stated that prior to the announcement of the termination of the rally, the picket had been notified by the Police and Civil Relations Group that a conflict had occurred nearby. However, because the scene was too crowded and the picket was difficult to handle, they immediately appealed to the public to leave in the direction of Admiralty Station as soon as possible after informing the police to make room for picket processing. He said that then a police officer in plain clothes suddenly entered Chater Gardens and asked him to terminate the rally. He said that the police officer had not produced a certificate of appointment.
