The Ministry of Industry, its institutions and companies started today to receive the applications for participation in the competition and testing that they announced in December of 2019 for appointment and contracting with 5755 workers from all categories in its central administration and its affiliated entities in Damascus and the governorates.

According to the ministry’s announcement, which Sana received a copy of, applications will continue to be submitted until the 17th of next February as a competition is held to recruit 1047 workers permanently from the first and second categories and to contract with 541 workers on work under annual contracts in addition to a test to appoint 866 permanent workers from the third categories The fourth and fifth contracts with 3,301 workers to work under annual contracts.

The ministry clarified that the documents required to apply for the competition and the test are a written request obtained by the applicant from the Office of the public authority to be appointed and a copy of the identity card or a recent civil registration statement and a certified copy of the required academic qualification and a certificate of compulsory service performance or exemption from it for male applicants or attaching a document proving that The applicant performs the obligatory or backup service and a certified copy of a certificate in progress.

As for permanent or temporary workers with public bodies wishing to apply for the competition or test, they must bring the approval of the public body working for them and the applicants with martyrs must bring a martyrdom document and those with the wounded and injured have a complete disability document issued by the Office of Martyrs Affairs or one of its branches in the governorates or from the concerned authority in addition To documents proving the applicant’s entitlement to preferential grades, provided that applications are submitted to the Office of the entity to be appointed.
