The defendant, Liu Hongde, 56, reported a medical aesthetic doctor and was charged with one indecent assault. The charge accused him of insulting woman X in the "Meiyi Medical Cosmetology" at Langham Place, Mong Kok on April 3 last year.
X, 30, testified at the barrier. She said she joined a medical aesthetics company on May 3, 2016 to meet the defendant who worked as a cosmetic surgeon. During X's tenure, the two met several times a month. Until she left in 2017, X asked the defendant to inject a cosmetic needle three times before and after X.

The defendant looked at X and said "Hello," several times, and extended her hands to ask for a hug. X put his hands on his chest, hugged the defendant gently, and left. X then called a friend to tell about the indecent assault. In the early morning, she cried at the image of indecent assault, and the next day accompanied by a social worker, she called the police.

However, X said that it was just an ordinary inquiry.

The defendant also said that between 2017 and 2019, X sent 56 messages to him, 13 of them with heart-shaped emoji, and praised the defendant for "good play and super care". The defendant said: "I am so happy and naive to be a good friend of you." However, X, who is currently working online, said that sending heart-shaped emoticons is only polite and occupational.
The defendant denied that he had kissed X, saying that the texture felt by X was actually a sterilized gauze, and that the cosmetic needle itself had an anesthetic component, and that "the tip of the nose touching the tip of the nose" referred to by X was actually a sense of anesthesia. X disagrees, meaning "you didn't knock me down."
