This case involved six defendants: Xu Jinghua (age 31), Zhuang Haowen (age 26), Yang Mengyi (age 29), Han Kexin (aka Zhang Fengyan, age 43), Liang Huilin (age 22), and Wenhui Hui (age 55). Four of them have been sentenced to imprisonment, probation or social service orders earlier, and the court will deal with Xu's sentence on the 7th of next month. Today, the court will only deal with Wenhui's sentence.
Judge tells defendant to thank family
When the judge sentenced him, Wen stated that during the remand period, he had introspected himself and should not be addicted to gambling or drinking. He would concentrate on working in a hair salon in the future, so he decided to impose a social service order. The judge also said that his relatives and friends gave him great support, and the defendant should be grateful.
Female defendant calls family when pregnant, says imprisoned
The case stated that Xu and Yang became couples in May 2017. In August and September of the same year, Xu called Yang Xiang Finance Company nearly 200,000 yuan, and later claimed that he was in debt and asked Yang to borrow money from his family. Yang's family paid more than 420,000, and at the end of Xu Nian also owed "big ear owl" money, so he gave the information of Yang and his brother-in-law to the other party. Yang's sisters received threats of disfigurement afterwards. Although she had deposited money in the designated account as instructed, she still received a call from Zhuang, and Yang's home was even exposed to oil.
In March last year, Yang was about 7 months pregnant. When her mother called her, the receiver said that Yang Wei had not repaid the money and demanded a ransom of 350,000 yuan. After the Yang family reported to the police, the police found Yang and Xu in the Xu family the next morning, showing no signs of imprisonment.
