Brazilian authorities today announced the death of 11 people due to floods caused by heavy rains in the southeast of the country.
The Associated Press quoted authorities as saying that the floods and landslides caused by heavy rains killed at least 11 people in the state of Minas Gerais in southeast Brazil, including two in the state capital, Belo Horizonte.
More rains are expected in the state and other parts of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
