A wounding occurred outside the Yuen Long West Rail Station. At about 10 pm today (30th), several young people were chased by unknown people during the finishing of the Lennon Wall at the Yuen Long West Rail Station. Some of them were holding sticks. Some people were beaten to the ground and attacked by telescopic batons. They were still beaten and kicked by the attackers. The attackers fled after they succeeded.
District Councilor Wu Jianwei of Yuen Long (Jiahu North) rushed to the scene immediately after learning of the incident and accompanied some of the injured to the hospital.

Wu told reporters that about 10:50 last night (30th), two men who were friends at the time, after dinner, went to the Lennon Wall on the ground of Yuen Long West Rail Station to watch "Wen Xuan". During the period, Two suspicious men spied nearby, took out their phones and waited outside Wai Wai. Someone present saw the case and approached the suspicious person for surveillance purposes. Within a short time, 6 to 8 people stepped out, rushed to the man who was watching Wenxuan, and accused them of embarrassment.
The group did not take any action. They attacked the two men's heads with telescopic batons. Other passers-by saw the situation and stopped to be injured. The incident caused 3 men and 1 woman to be injured. The injuries were mainly on the head. Two of the wounded men needed stitches. Wu said that police officers in plain clothes had gone to the hospital to make statements for the injured.
