The Super Bowl bets for a better environment 5:17

(CNN) - At the start of the Super Bowl festivities on Sunday, severe storms can await plans from Friday to Saturday morning.

Fans arriving in Miami on Friday night for the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs might be a bit disappointed with the weather, with a 50% chance of drizzle on Friday afternoon.

The rain is expected to strengthen during the night as a cold front moves through the Miami area.

There is a slight risk that these storms will become severe, especially early Saturday.

The storms will bring the possibility of high winds, hail and minor floods.

Although the severe threat will be over by mid-morning on Saturday, you can expect the dip to remain until the afternoon.

By Sunday, everything will dry up.

The storms are forecast to leave the area completely on Sunday, leaving a cool, dry air.

Fans will enjoy highs near 21 degrees Celsius during the day, and a temperature of around 18 at the time of the initial kick at 6:30 pm.
