A source close to the production team said 38-year-old Merkel, who was divorced prior to her marriage to the British prince about two years ago, will appear on Netflix's "I do, redo" show when she joins a mentor who is also her best friend, Toronto wedding designer Jessica Mulroney. The same factor added that Merkel's participation in the program would not be continuous, but did not specify whether she would be paid for it.

The pay for guest roles on Canadian television is reportedly set at $ 588 a day, which could help the former Sussex duke and Duchess in their first steps towards financial independence.

According to the press release, the ten-episode program reviews ten couples who have had first weddings that ended well - allowing them to recreate their big day at a dream wedding.

Last week, Merkel, who lives with Harry on a Vancouver estate with baby Archie, is now looking for a Hollywood agent. Last month, Merkel signed an agreement with Disney for dubbing work as the payment will be passed on as a donation to the nonprofit it supports.

As of now, there are few details of the wedding realities, which are probably not yet complete, though Mulroney has posted in her Instagram account some photos she has documented accompanied by a photography team during visits to Florida, Connecticut and the Caribbean.
