Pedro Morilla, sports director of the Wuhan Three Lions football team, was part of the group of 19 Spaniards who were repatriated on a flight operated by Wamos Air. Passengers departed from Wuhan, the Chinese city where the first case of the new coronavirus strain was recorded that has left more than 250 people dead and more than 10,000 cases in mainland China. The Spaniards took more than 24 hours to reach their final destination, the Torrejón de Ardoz air base in Madrid.
