According to the Dachau Non-Party Community, the new Dachau ice rink is to bear the name "Hans-Jürgen-Bäumler Ice Rink". The ÜB has already submitted an application to the city and is convinced: "The new urban ice rink would be very well placed to bear the name of the internationally known and native Dachau figure skater, as well as a later actor and moderator."
