Update from 10:59 a.m .: In the early Sunday morning a Mercedes overturned on the A73 near Hirschaid. There were four women in the car. Now there are new details about the course of the accident . The passenger had apparently put the driver in the steering wheel, causing the car to overturn.
"The 26-year-old probably panicked - apparently the driver steered her too far to the left," quotes the German Press Agency (dpa) a police spokesman. The 19-year-old driver and the three other occupants survived the accident slightly injured. However, the car is a total loss.

The collision was so violent that the guardrail was torn out of the anchorages and eventually wrapped around the Mercedes. The car was badly damaged in the accident. As the photo agency News5 reports, the worst was to be expected when looking at the wreck. However, the four women remained almost unharmed. As a precaution, they came to the hospital to treat the minor injuries.
To be able to rescue the vehicle, the fire brigade flexed the guardrail. According to initial estimates, the property damage amounts to around 50,000 euros.
