The Saudi regime prevented Iran from participating in a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the city of Jeddah to discuss the announcement of US President Donald Trump about the so-called "Deal of the Century".

A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, said in a statement today that "the Saudi government prevented an Iranian delegation from participating in the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the deal of the century in Jeddah, thereby violating the organization's obligations." Iranian Hussein Jabri Ansari to participate in the said meeting.

Moussaoui pointed out that "Saudi behavior reflects its exploitation to host this international organization for its own interests and political ambitions."

Last Tuesday, US President Donald Trump announced, in a blatant violation of international resolutions, the provisions of the so-called "deal of the century" that allows the Zionist occupation entity to annex more occupied lands in preparation for the liquidation of the Palestinian issue, which sparked widespread Palestinian rejection.
