Lorena Riesgo, partner of the general secretary of the Suteba teaching union, Roberto Baradel , is the new undersecretary of Socio-Cultural Promotion of the government of Axel Kicillof . The official was already presented in the position by the Minister of Production, Science and Innovation Technology of the province of Buenos Aires, Augusto Costa.
The brand-new official served as councilor of La Plata for 12 years , between 2007 and 2019. In the last elections she was a candidate for provincial senator, but did not access the position.
The news was known one day after the first joint meeting of the year between the teaching unions and the government that - both parties - agreed to qualify as positive.
Risk was presented in his position by Costa in an act in which he formalized the undersecretaries who will accompany him in the management.
"We had a complicated initial task because for the governor, Axel Kicillof, production is a central axis of public policy and the situation in this area is in emergency," said the minister during the act.
During the ceremony, which took place in the Golden Hall of the Interior, Costa presented the eleven undersecretaries that make up his cabinet, accompanied by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Carlos Bianco and the Minister of Public Communication, Jesica Rey.
It is that according to the new law of ministries, Production absorbed the functions that in the previous management fulfilled the Ministry of Science and Technology and that of Cultural Management.
In addition to Risk, he presented to the Ministry of Communication, Francisca Ure; of Industry, SMEs and Cooperatives, Mariela Inés Bembi; of Port Affairs, Juan Cruz Lucero; of Creative Industries and cultural innovation, Nicolás Wainszelbaum and of Commercial Development and Investment Promotion, Guillermo Rabinovich. In addition the Undersecretary of Tourism will be in charge of Ianina Bak; that of Mining, Federico Aguilera; the one of Cultural Policies, Ezequiel Grimson; of Science, Technology and Innovation, Federico Agüero; and the Technical, Administrative and Legal, Noelia Laura Fernández.
