Haifa Magistrate's Court extended the arrest of 33-year-old Adham Hamud, who is suspected of shooting along with others involved, to a house in Sajur village on Monday. Hamud is the son of Jaber Hamud, the head of the local councilor Sajur in the Galilee and the head of the forum of Druze and Circassian heads of Israel.
The event, which took place in November 2019, was investigated by the Galilee Heart Station for more than two months. 23-year-old Nail Hamud, the additional son of the council chairman, has been arrested and released twice during the investigation. Investigators who suspect the shooting took place from at least two firearms have a video documenting the incident, in which a masked gunman appeared to be shooting. A prestigious BMW, worth about NIS 400,000, which the investigators suspect was used for a shootout. In total, six suspected men have so far been arrested.

Additional suspects include 24-year-old Madinah, who was arrested two weeks ago and held seven days in custody, in the decisions of Vice President Justice Tal Tadmor Zamir, and Judge Maria Picos Bogdanov. In addition, 24-year-old Ryan Hamod was released a day after his arrest, in the courtroom, in November, when he reached a Nail Hamud hearing at the time.
All the suspects are residents of the village of Sajur, and they all deny what is attributed to you. Attorney Basel Falah, who represents the suspects, said he was "confident that the truth will soon be revealed and it will become clear that, as everyone has since the suspicion came up against them, they have no hand and foot in the alleged incident."
