Jewish Student Representatives at Berkeley University (California, USA) were to vote on a resolution that would condemn anti-Semitic events across campus. In the matter, the pro-Palestinian activists burst into the scene and took control, began shouting "Liberate Palestine" and prevented the assembly from continuing.

Last night, UC Berkeley’s student government was supposed to vote on a bill that would condemn anti-Semitic incidents occurring on campus.



Instead, Jewish students were silenced and abused.

The spread of anti-Semitism on campus across the United States has become a fact, as the prestigious university has also experienced the arm of the BBC's supporters in the past decade.



About two months ago, a survey of 230 undergraduates at Berkeley University published that those who responded that they were deeply interested in "Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories" did not know where to place Israel on the map or alternatively to recognize basic dates in the history of the conflict.



Last December, US President Donald Trump signed a federal aid cut for colleges that are not struggling with anti-Semitism and BDS. In practice, the goal is to allow the US Department of Education to freeze budgets for colleges and educational programs that the government will define as discriminatory against Jews, with the goal of fighting the BDS movement in universities.



A tweet from June Mysti about the issue received hundreds of comments and references. Many have reacted in shock, along with much criticism of the academic institution. "You can't understand how they allow this nonsense." Other comments stated that this was a "scandalous" and "disgusting" video and some described the video as "a full display of Nazism."
