The Pan American and West Access cameras recorded, since they began operating at the end of the year, an average of 2,500 offenders per day, about 100 per hour , due to speeding . As reported by the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation, there were, between December 29 and January 30, 77,520 offenders.

The results are part of the operation that has been carried out by the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV), which depends on the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation. The Province of Buenos Aires also participates, since both accesses to the City are located in Buenos Aires jurisdiction.

To the eight fixed radars that were in the Pan American since 2015, but did not infringe, 10 mobile devices will be added in the highway track. At the same time, mobile radars first reached the West Access.

In the Pan-American Highway - where 700,000 vehicles travel every day, the eight radars worked but no infractions were issued.

There are eight devices that registered 681,367 vehicles that, between January and October, exceeded the speed limit, which in most of this fast track is 130 kilometers per hour.

However, none of these drivers received a fine at their homes. It was necessary to establish guidelines between jurisdictions, since the route is national, but it is located in Buenos Aires territory. In addition, the municipalities have control over the collectors, but not in the main trace.

Finally, at the end of last year the operation was launched and the result, during January, were 77,520 speeding violations . According to transport information, vehicles were registered that traveled at more than 180 kilometers per hour.

In Panamericana, the largest number of infractions were recorded in Pilar and Exaltación de la Cruz ; while in the West Access the places with the highest catches were Moreno, Ituzaingó and General Rodríguez.

With regard to the cameras, it was also reported that new radars are planned to be installed on the bridges that cross both highways.

The value of fines for those who exceed the permitted speed limits ranges from $ 7,823.16 (124 UF) to $ 63,090 (1,000 UF). The Fixed Unit, a parameter used to establish the value of the sanction, had an increase of 17% in the Province during January. Each UF is equivalent to the value of one liter of the premium gasoline that ACA sells in La Plata.
