She is surfing on encouraging polls. And yet, the 15th arrondissement threatens to seize the campaign of the Parisian right. In the most populated district of the capital, the largest provider of elected officials to the Council of Paris (18 out of 163 elected officials), the right divides. Outgoing mayor for twelve years, Philippe Goujon still refuses to embrace Rachida Dati, despite his successful campaign entry. “I was forced to pledge allegiance. I will support the candidacy of the one who is best placed to allow the alternation. If it’s Rachida Dati so much the better, ” confines himself to saying the councilor who opens his lists to the MoDem and to Agir, parties members of the presidential majority, while continuing to sit in the 100% Paris group of Pierre-Yves Bournazel, recently joined by Benjamin Griveaux.
