The Buenos Aires Federal Chamber on Thursday resolved to convene a raffle next Tuesday to designate the magistrate or magistrate of the jurisdiction that will temporarily replace the late Judge Claudio Bonadio in front of the 11th Court of the Retirement Courts, until a new one is appointed magistrate.
According to judicial sources informed Télam, the raffle will be held on Tuesday at 11 and from there will come the name of the judge who will temporarily take charge of the court, until the process of selecting a new magistrate is developed, which starts with the call to a public contest by the Council of the Magistracy , in accordance with the provisions of the National Constitution.
Bonadio died last Tuesday from a brain tumor and had a license until March, for which a sub-elegance by federal judge Sebastián Casanello had been determined.
But, before the death of the magistrate, which occurred last Tuesday, "the cause ceased" for which the license requested by Bonadio governed and, now, a magistrate who deals with his court for a longer period of time must be drawn.
The draw will be made among all federal judges of the jurisdiction.
The 11 is the second court whose ownership is currently vacant in the Federal Courts of Comodoro Py, given that the court that was in charge of Sergio Torres, who since the middle of last year has been part of the Supreme Court of Justice, is also without a final magistrate from the province of Buenos Aires.
In accordance with the provisions of the National Constitution after the 1994 reform, the process of selecting a judge begins with the call for public tender by the Council of the Magistracy which, after an extensive process, raises a list of candidates for Power Executive to elect one of the candidates and raise their specifications to the Senate for approval.
