Summoned by the criminal brigade after the discovery of a body in an attic in Villemomble, the man, 30 years old, killed himself

The police of the criminal brigade will not have had time to hear him. The alleged perpetrator of the 75-year-old man whose body was discovered on Monday in Villemomble, hidden in the attic of a lodge, killed himself on Wednesday with a gun after receiving the summons of investigators.

The body of this man, a 30-year-old police officer assigned to another Ile-de-France department, was discovered in Noisy-le-Grand, in his car parked on the banks of the Marne.

A message to his wife

"He was to be heard as a witness Wednesday morning by the police but he had not responded to the summons," said the prosecutor's office in Bobigny. The investigations made it possible to establish that he had contact on Friday January 31 with the 75 year old man whose body was discovered Monday.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the official had left a message to his wife worried about the discovery of the body and admitting that he was the person responsible before taking action.

"Commercial dispute"

If the motive for the murder remains to be determined, a police source refers to "a commercial dispute".

"Traces of bruises and blood were found on the body of the man found in the attic," said a source close to the file. The accommodation, which belongs to the victim's aunt, was also completely searched.

The victim and his brother, who fell on the body hidden under a heap of objects and clothes, took turns every three days to verify that the place, put up for sale because of the placement in Ehpad of the owner, was not squatted or burglarized.
