07/02/2020Diana Sirokai, a large-scale lingerie model, reveals how catfishers (impostors) use pictures she posts on Instagram to impersonate and blackmail men. She said the phenomenon was so great that she often had to confront men who were sure she knew them and were already afraid to walk around the street alone.
Diana, 23, from London but originally from Hungary, says that we can post pictures of her on porn sites and open fake profiles on Instagram and dating sites to entice men to send them money. In one case, she even got a call from a woman posing for her to photograph herself lying on her bed just so she could keep squeezing the guy she was with. "The first time a stranger came up to me on the street and claimed we were dating for months, I thought he was confused with someone else," she said in a conversation with Fabulous Digital. "Over time, I have seen the phenomenon growing. More and more men are turning to me in the street and confident we know."

Diana was very sympathetic when she returned pictures of Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid to promote a positive body image. Diana says she suffers from social anxiety, does not leave home alone and avoids traveling by public transport. She said: "It affects me. I'm not even willing to get on a train or bus. In the past, if there was traffic and I had to get on the subway, I would do it. Today I just take a Uber. It's the safest way to get to places.
