The Lebanese cabinet unanimously approved today the ministerial statement of the government.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the council approved the statement at a session held today in the Baabda Palace chaired by Lebanese President Michel Aoun and attended by Prime Minister Hassan Diab and the ministers.
Aoun called for the start of work to compensate for what has been lost in the past weeks, stressing the need to set priorities in every ministry “because the projects are many and what is important and urgent must be highlighted more than others.” He also asked to add the clause of the return of the Syrian refugees to their homeland in the text of the ministerial statement. .
After that, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers read the ministerial statement, made a number of amendments to it, and then unanimously approved it.
