Tall, big, with good technique and scoring nose, Adolfo Gaich is one of the loudest appearances Argentine soccer witnessed in the last couple of years. The striker of San Lorenzo and the youth team wants to resemble Gabriel Batistuta and does not rush to be sold to Europe.

"I hope in the future I may look like Batistuta," the center forward said in an interview he gave TyC Sports, the day after being crowned champion in the Colombian U23 Pre-Olympic.
"I was not lucky enough to see it, but it was one of the best 9 that Argentina had," he added, making clear the role he wants to play in football: a network breaker.
Although in the tournament that is still being played in Colombia, in which Argentina got the ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Gaich only scored one goal, in the debut, against the home, it was fundamental in the operation of Fernando's team Cambric.
In addition, he comes from being a Pan American champion in Lima 2019 and his tour in the youth teams is at a steady pace and with a clear destiny of greater selection, knowing the stars that lie ahead in his position.

However, it is hard to find a 9 with its characteristics, so the chance to play with Lionel Messi and company seems to get stronger.
On the performance in Colombia of the U23, Gaich was clear: "In all the games we were superior against very tough opponents, but I keep that of last Thursday against Colombia, which was not a good game of ours but we could take the victory and be champions ".
Finally, he referred to his future and the frustrated pass to the Bruges of Belgium. "At some point it will happen and I'm in no hurry. Now it's time to enjoy playing in the club you are a fan of."
