"More than ever, colleagues have become prey," says a sad police source in Le Figaro . During the night of Thursday to Friday, the police were the target of several "violent actions" in Paris and in Seine-Saint-Denis. Facts "inadmissible" , indignant Friday the Paris police headquarters on Twitter. If, according to the initial investigations, the events had no link between them, they show a continuing hostility towards the police in certain districts. They also recall the traumatic attack on Viry-Châtillon in 2016. On October 8, four police officers were injured in the attack on their vehicles by a gang of young people with Molotov cocktails.

Projectile jets in Seine-Saint-Denis
It all started in the early evening Thursday, around 7.20pm, in the town of Saint-Denis. While patrolling in their vehicles, officers from the Anti-Crime Brigade (IBC) were hit by projectiles. According to a police source, "several stones of varying sizes" were thrown against the windows of this car. If no official was injured, several individuals were arrested. One of them placed in police custody. An "ordinary but symptomatic" action , comments our source.

A few hours later, at 11.15 p.m., a few kilometers to the east, local police officers were the target of "incendiary devices" in the commune of Blanc-Mesnil (93), the same source indicates. This time, the officers failed to find their attackers, who fled. There too "more fear than harm" , we breathe internally: no official was injured by this attack, perpetrated by "manifestly hostile individuals" .
Violence in the 20th arrondissement of Paris
Similar events took place at 12:45 am in the town of Neuilly-Plaisance (93). Once again, the staff of the local BAC were attacked by projectile jets from about fifteen individuals. A "very aggressive" gang, who is already known for similar acts in the area, believes they know a well-informed source. Two of them were arrested and taken into police custody.

This night of violence ended around 2:30 am in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. The police first arrested two people as a group of drunk students left the nightclub. In a separate event, a brawl also broke out between several young people. The police were dispatched to the scene and received various projectiles. Four people were arrested and taken into police custody.
